Bedford Girls’ School (BGS) is delighted to announce that it has been ranked second in the world in the 2026 IB-Schools Global Small Cohort League Table.
This outstanding achievement reflects the ambition and dedication of BGS students, together with the expertise and commitment of the school’s teaching staff. The league tables, produced annually by Education Advisers, collect results from independent schools around the world that teach in English and are internationally recognised for their rigour and credibility.
Alongside the Top 100 Global IB Schools table, Education Advisers publishes tables by country and region. The Global, European and UK tables are divided into Large and Small Cohort categories, with individual country tables including schools with cohorts of 20 or more students. BGS’s second-place ranking in the Small Cohort category places the school among the very best IB providers worldwide.
