Jersey College for Girls is celebrating another year of exceptional GCSE success, with students achieving an average grade of 7 (old grade A) across all examinations and the College’s value-added performance placing it within the top 2% of schools nationally for student progress.

The results demonstrate not only outstanding attainment but also the remarkable progress students make during their time at the College. JCG’s value-added measure, which evaluates the progress students make from their starting points, confirms that students are achieving significantly above expectations when compared with schools across the United Kingdom. These results confirm the value of a JCG education.

This year’s outcomes continue JCG’s strong tradition of academic excellence:

Grade 9: 20.14%

Grades 9-8: 41.24%

Grades 9-7: 63.29%

Grades 9-6: 82.72%

Grades 9-5: 95.95%

Grades 9-4: 98.69%

More than one in five grades awarded were the highest possible Grade 9, while almost two-thirds of all grades were achieved at Grade 7 or above.
