With a history dating back to 1634, we understand how valuable single-sex education can be in giving girls a great start in life.

Girls can join our Junior School from Year 3. Here they will discover their strengths, address their weaknesses and become curious and active learners.

Our warm, nurturing pastoral care combined with the expectation of positive attitudes, determination and achievement, help us develop confident young girls who are not afraid of failure.

Similarly, in the Senior School we prioritise the development of the whole girl. We provide breadth and depth of knowledge and experience, fostering a love for learning and personal development, to help our girls become the leaders of tomorrow.

Our academic record is excellent, and we are totally committed to seeing each and every girl fulfil their academic potential. Small class sizes, experienced teaching staff and a strong school work ethic all ensure the girls here perform extremely well. Our extensive A Level curriculum offer is complemented by a wide-ranging Electives programme that prepares students for their next steps into further education, the world of work, or to embark on a meaningful gap year.
