GSA received over 1000 entries this year to its Creative Writing Award!
‘Let Me Put You On Speaker’ caught imaginations across the nation as girls sent in super sonnets, victorious villanelles, and heavenly haikus in poems that celebrate female friendships. Thanks to every girl who entered, and to the passionate and wonderful teachers and Heads who have shown such care and passion in their support of this award.
Every poem was read by our judge Karen McCarthy Woolf FRSL, and we can now reveal the winners and runners-up are as follows:
