St Margaret’s Celebrates International Women’s Day with Open Morning

1 March 2024

This International Women’s Day (Friday, 8th March) St Margaret’s School for Girls will open their doors to prospective pupils and their families for their March open morning. This year’s International Women’s Day 2024 campaign theme is ‘Inspire Inclusion’ and St Margaret’s continues to support inclusion through their diverse curriculum, by celebrating their community’s differences and successes, and encouraging student leadership and involvement in all aspects of school life.

At the open morning, families will have the opportunity to tour the school on a normal working day. This provides an excellent insight into life at St Margaret’s and gives families the opportunity to interact with teachers, staff and pupils. The senior leadership and admissions teams will be delighted to meet families after their individual tours and answer any questions that they have.

St Margaret’s make it their priority to ensure your family’s admissions experience is welcoming and personal and they pride themselves on creating a supportive environment for your family. Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions you will make and so St Margaret’s will assist you in making the process of entry as easy as possible.

St Margaret’s School for Girls is the only and oldest school in the north of Scotland catering exclusively for girls. St Margaret’s offers a well-rounded, first-class education to girls aged 3-18. By offering a curriculum that includes diverse perspectives, cultures, and experiences, St Margaret’s demonstrates the value of inclusivity and broaden students’ understanding of the wider world.

If you would like to find out more about life at St Margaret’s School for Girls, they are pleased to welcome enquiries at any time of year, and invite you to contact them directly if you wish to organise a tour of the school.
