Bedford Girls’ School is celebrating the success of its Upper Sixth examination results with three quarters of grades being awarded A*-B (A Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma combined) and a 100% pass rate.

Earlier in the summer, the International Baccalaureate Diploma cohort achieved outstanding results with an average point score of 36 (against a worldwide average of 30), with one student attaining an impressive 44 points out of a possible 45.

Over 96% of the Upper Sixth cohort have been accepted onto their preferred course. Students are set to pursue a wide array of disciplines at leading universities, including English Language and Literature at Oxford; Neuroscience at Bristol; Engineering at Durham; PPE at Exeter; Mechatronics and Robotic Engineering at Birmingham; Natural Sciences at Durham; Medicine at Queen Mary; Pharmacology at Nottingham; Economics and Geography at Leeds; Business and Management at York; Architecture at Edinburgh; Computer Science at Warwick; Music at Nottingham and Performance Design at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
