Talented young artists from Farnborough Hill have achieved outstanding success in the regional round of the prestigious Independent Schools Association (ISA) National Art Competition.

Facing an exceptionally high standard of entries, the pupils demonstrated remarkable creative vision, technical skill, and dedication.

In the Key Stage 5 2D Art category, Alyssa took first place with her breathtaking and deeply personal painting. Exploring the theme of fragmented childhood memories, Alyssa’s artwork captivated the judges through its thoughtful concept, expressive application of paint, and distinctive visual language, making it a truly powerful and deserving winner. Alyssa’s work will be entered into the next heat and the School wishes her every success.

Adding to the celebrations, Sophia achieved second place in the Key Stage 4 Fashion and Textiles category for her striking corset design. Inspired by the architectural structure of the Eiffel Tower, Sophia’s creation stood out for its imaginative interpretation, intricate construction, and immaculate attention to detail.

To achieve such fantastic results in such a competitive field is a wonderful recognition of the talent within Farnborough Hill’s Art Department. The entire school community extends a massive well done to both Alyssa and Sophia on these well-deserved achievements.
