The results are a strong reflection of the progress students make at Heathfield, where small classes and a highly personalised approach to learning enable every student to fulfil their potential.

Overall, 64% of all grades were awarded at 9–7, with an impressive 40% of grades at 9–8 (A*).

The breadth and depth of success was showcased across the cohort: 100% of students achieved a pass in both Maths and Science, while more than 40% of students achieved the highest possible grade 9 in English Literature, History and Spanish.

Among the standout individual performances:

Jayden, an Academic Scholar, achieved an exceptional eleven Grade 9s

Molly, an Art Scholar, achieved an impressive four Grade 9s and five Grade 8s

Maddie, going on to study the International Baccalaureate, achieved 100% Grades 9–7

The Value Added across the board once again exceeded an average of a full grade per subject per student – and we are immensely proud of all of their accomplishments. Their achievements are testament not only to their hard work and determination, but also to the supportive and personalised education they receive at Heathfield.

Jonathan Williams, Head, said:

“I am delighted with this year’s GCSE results and would like to congratulate every student on their excellent achievements. These results are a wonderful reflection of the commitment and determination of our students, alongside the dedication of our teaching staff.

At Heathfield, we believe that an excellent education is about much more than examination results. Our students benefit from a genuinely broad and diverse education, where academic achievement sits alongside success in sport, music, drama and the arts. In our small, supportive community, every student is known, valued and encouraged to aim high and be the very best version of themselves.”
