Pipers Corner is an independent day school for girls aged 4 – 18. Set in 92 acres of beautiful Chiltern countryside, the school is 4 miles north of High Wycombe and 2 miles from Great Missenden.

At Pipers Corner all girls are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. Our nurturing and encouraging environment enables the girls to grow into mature, confident and independent individuals. Academically successful, our girls progress to further study at Oxbridge and other top universities or specialist dance, drama and music colleges.

Sport is popular at Pipers, from the 25-metre indoor swimming pool to the sports hall and outdoor pitches including an astro; we can accommodate a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Similarly, those with creative interests benefit from the use of dance, drama, textile, art, ceramics, design and technology studios, as well as a large music department.

Pipers Corner is committed to a programme of continual improvement. Following the opening of new facilities for our Sixth Form students in September 2015, our new Arts Centre, complete with 280 seat theatre and café, opened in September 2016, along with a brand new Library, situated at the very heart of the school.

Gifted & Talented

We are committed to develop the gifts and talents of all our girls to the full. Gifted & Talented learners are identified through assessment data and through discussions with individual departments so that individual gifts (e.g. in sports, performing arts) can be fostered and developed. Girls then take part in specific programmes and/or clubs and outings which aim to explore their areas of interest in depth beyond the classroom.

SEN

Our Learning Support Team offers consultation, assessment and support across the school. We can cater for pupils with a variety of needs and support is offered in a needs led way both within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis, following the development of an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
