Networking Initiative Launched By Head Girls at The Marist School

4 October 2018

On Wednesday 19 September, Head Girls at The Marist School, Sunninghill, hosted a networking afternoon tea with sixteen Head Girls and Boys from local schools.

Organised and led by Marist Head Girls Claudia and Naoise, the initiative was designed to improve communications and connections as well as an opportunity to learn about different roles of responsibility amongst other local Sixth Forms. In attendance were Head Girl/Boy representatives from Gordon’s School, Charters School, LVS Ascot, St Mary’s School Ascot, St George’s Ascot and The Oratory School.

Speaking about the event, Claudia said:

“The networking afternoon tea was a great success and it was the perfect opportunity for students to come together to build stronger links with other Head Girls/Boys in an informal and relaxed setting. We hope that this event will help pave the way for more networking opportunities with schools in the local community.”

Miss Nicole Fenning, Director of Sixth Form commented:

“Sixth Form life at The Marist School is much more than academic results; exposure to leadership and networking opportunities is just as vital to our students’ development. We are delighted that our current Head Girls, Naoise and Claudia, have started this initiative and we look forward to the continued success of this programme.”
