Following our industry-leading 150th anniversary research where we gave voice to nearly 6000 girls, GSA are excited to be launching The Girls’ Research Association.
The Girls’ Research Association is an exciting new initiative designed to expand GSA’s research network and foster a culture of curiosity among students in GSA schools. Through structured mentorship, collaboration between schools, and access to expert guidance, students will develop essential research skills, engage in meaningful academic exploration, and contribute to discussions on key societal issues. The program supports students in conducting their group research projects, culminating in a piece of published work on the GSA website and an opportunity to present their findings to GSAs CEO and other key stakeholders.
The Association aims to strengthen cross-school collaboration, positioning GSA schools as leaders in student-led research. With recognition opportunities, expert mentorship, and a platform to showcase student work, the Girls’ Research Association provides an invaluable opportunity for both students to build confidence, analytical skills, and academic independence.
The project pilot will launch in Summer Term 2025 and run until the end of the Autumn 2025 term. Open initially to students at the end of year 7 and going into year 8.
