Notre Dame Girls celebrate achieving all their A Level goals

It was with much excitement and anticipation that Notre Dame’s Sixth Form students today celebrated a fantastic set of A-level Results. Notre Dame offers 27 subjects at A-level and the girls have gained places at a diverse range of Universities to study an exciting array of courses.

Anna King, Senior School Headmistress said:

“We are very proud of all the girls and their teachers today. At Notre Dame our aim is to inspire and then enable each girl to be ambitious, work hard and fulfil her individual goals and we could not be happier to see the girls achieve all they wanted today”.

Aoife Madden and Erica Whittome will both be going to study Medicine at Imperial College and Southampton University respectively.

Helena Roberts with an A* in Art & Design and an A grade in Art & Design Textiles will be studying Design Crafts at De Montfort University. Mia Palmer-Wildin will be studying French and History at Bristol and Caitlin Hughes will be studying Geography at Durham.

Pippa Earley will be continuing her studies alongside pursuing her athletics career at the prestigious Kansas State University in the United States where she will be coached by Cliff Revelto who has already trained 14 Olympians.

Janine Harber, Head of ND6 said:

“I am so thrilled for all the girls as they leave Notre Dame today as happy, confident and independent young women. It is great to see them so excited about their future studies and careers and I look forward to following their progress”.

45% of all grades achieved were A* and A, and 74% of girls gained A*- B. The girls achieved a 100% pass rate overall.
