Bromley High School pupils shine with outstanding GCSE results

The number of pupils achieving the highest grade 9 has increased by 5% compared to 2019. An impressive 31% of pupils achieved nine or more A* grades, while an exceptional 16 pupils secured ten or more A*s.

A warm round of applause goes to Shania-Kiara A, Shreya A, Eniola A, Ella C, Jessica C, Samaira D, Alyssa F, Amber F, Avani G, Sienna P, Ruby S, Aria S, Lydie S, Ramya V, Megan W and Gabriella W who accomplished ten or more A* grades.

Debating champion Ramya, a member of the Bromley High senior debating team who won this year’s National Finals of the English Speaking Union Churchill Public Speaking Competition, achieved 11 A*s. She will be pursuing A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Spanish at Sixth Form at Bromley High School.

Ella C, who achieved ten A*s and one A, and Jessica C who achieved 11 A*s, will likewise continue their A level studies at Bromley High School. Both pupils will study Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics with the aim of pursuing careers in Engineering and Computer Science.

“The whole school is celebrating these superb GCSE results, which are a credit to the colossal enthusiasm and dedication of all our Year 11 students and their outstanding teachers,” said Headmistress Mrs Emily Codling. “It is wonderful to see how the year group and staff have come together and to now be rewarded with these outstanding results. The girls have been a true delight to work with and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on their talents further as they embark on their Sixth Form adventure with us.”
