With Lunar New Year just around the corner, the Juniors had a fun-filled day learning all about the Year of the Rabbit through workshops on Wednesday.
In the Junior Hall, the girls learned about different traditional Chinese instruments and took turns playing them such as the Erhu (Chinese violin), Guzheng (Chinese Zither) and Yueqin (a Chinese string instrument also known as a moon lute/guitar). There were also some Art workshops, where the girls got creative and made artwork featuring Rabbits (see below). At break, everyone gathered outside their class balconies to watch the Lion show – many thanks to Nam Yang Epsom for performing a Lion Dance as part of our celebrations!
