Our aim is to develop adaptable, independent and socially responsible young women, who approach their learning with imagination, energy and a sense of adventure.
We want them to be able to recognise and seize the opportunities life will offer them and to have the flexibility to adapt to the rapid changes of life in the 21st century.
We also recognise that a broad education, encompassing an extensive range of extra-curricular activities, is essential in developing young people who are intellectually fulfilled, healthy and happy. School life is as much about camaraderie as coding; as much about morality as mathematics. Whatever the interests of our girls we aim to nurture and develop them, whilst providing opportunities for new experiences and challenges, all within a friendly, supportive community.
We hope to meet you and your family soon

The School can make limited funds available, according to financial need, to able pupils through the Schools Assisted Places Scheme. These awards are made on academic merit in the Entrance Examination and will involve a meeting at School with a member of the Bursary staff. A small number of significant School Assisted Places are also available for Year 12 entry up to 50% of fees (larger bursaries may be available, dependent on exceptional performance at GCSE). These are dependent upon performance in the GCSE examinations, parental income and a meeting with a member of the Bursary staff.
A number of honorary Scholarships are offered for entry into Year 7. These have no financial value, but confer considerable prestige. Whilst our Scholarships no longer command any monetary value, we still have them in place as a formal record of excellence in the 11+ examinations across the Foundation. This has continued to be popular with parents and primary schools alike as reward in itself for the hard work that students have undertaken before these examinations.
Scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are dependent upon examination performance. There is no need to make separate applications to be considered for these awards.
Music Scholarships are available at 11+ (Year 7), 13+ (Year 9) and 16+ (Year 12). We welcome applications from both internal and external candidates; an offer of a Scholarship is conditional on gaining entry to one of the Schools in the Loughborough Schools Foundation.
